Grassroots is a full service landscape maintenance, and installation company, that was born out of a concept of bringing affordable, high quality, landscape service to the residents of Northwest Arkansas.
Grassroots is owned and managed by Tanner D. Bassett, and Kenneth J. Hanle III, who together have over 35 years of experience in the landscape industry. Here at Grassroots, we pride ourselves on the emphasis placed on customer service, and we promise to make your experience with our staff, and services programs, second to none!
Tanner graduated from the University of Arkansas, with a degree in Landscape Architecture before working in design studios in Dallas, Tx and Tulsa, Ok. After working and learning from some of the best designers in the business, Tanner decided to focus his efforts on bringing his design experience to the construction industry. Tanner has worked on many residential, and commercial projects over the years with projects ranging from single family homes, to hospitals, to museums, and shopping malls! Tanner has a beautiful wife Sarah, and two beautiful daughters that are his biggest Grassroots fans! There is a wealth of knowledge he is ready to contribute to your landscape today!
Kenn grew up in a small Central Arkansas farming community and has been shaping the landscape his whole life. From his early days at farming to his first paying landscape and irrigation job in 1988, he has worked across the state and region and has been a part of many award winning projects. He’s married to his High School sweetheart, Tonya and they have three children and one granddaughter who won’t go a day without talking to pop!
